Well, it's official, I've really screwed up. Gained back 5 lbs! It took me a month of working my butt off to lose that weight. But without sufficient exercise and eating junk food at night, I put the weight on easily. So depressed and angry with myself. And now exercise seems so hard. I'm such an idiot. I'm a pot head and that's why it happened. There, I have finally admitted it. I am a pot head who eats right during the day but pigs out late at night because of the munchies. I need to stop!!!!

Unfortunately, eating healthy at night is not really an option. I have to stop the habit. Marijuana literally makes you crave fat, sugar and carbs. A REALLY Bad mixture!!!!!
I am addicted so it isn't going to be easy. I have quit a few times before and it's harder for me than quitting smoking cigarettes. Which I did succeed in quitting.

If you smoke, so it when you are exhausted and tired so that you will go straight to bed. Lock up the food, do not have any cookies, brownies, cake, ice cream, bread, in the house at all. That leaves you with only going to drive thrus and if you are tired and exhausted you will probably go to sleep instead of hopping in your car. I know this doesn't sound so good but try to keep a lot of fruit in the house and munch on then when you have the munchies. You can look up some healthy dessert recipes and make them ahead of time so that eating at night doesn't ruin your diet. Also when I get hungry at night I take a full glass of metamucil so it is orange flavored so it usually fills me up and I go to bed. I hope this helps with your night eating cravings :)

I see you in your profile picture that you're with a little girl and I'm assuming she's your daughter because she looks just like you (very beautiful I might add!). I think first, before you can truely make a healthy lifestyle change and loose weight you are going to have to get clean. If you are still smoking pot, even though you are making other positive changes it's gonna drag you down and not let you get to where you want to be, which you found out with the 5lb weight gain. It WILL be hard. But it will only work if you are truely ready to make a life change. If you'd like to talk more you can msg me... I've "been there done that" and have my own similar story. Things are hard, usually get harder then a little easier and eventually to a place I call "under my feet". Where even the thought of those bad choices sound completely and utterly disgusting and the temptation is no longer there. Good luck!

Drink Water, when you head for the kitchen to start rummaging drink TWO full glasses of water. This will help fill your stomach and kill the hunger cravings. I also stock low cal munchies (choclate is my weakness), I like the Special K chocolate drizzle bars, and I want to try the new Brownies by fiber one, only 90 cals. I know how you feel... you can do this

You can do anything you set your mind to. It's so cliche but the words hold significant weight in our day to day motivations. Pay especially close attention to why you need the hits and eventually you'll find a new way to cope with those moments. We all use coping mechanisms to get us through moments in our lives. sometimes we have to reengineer those tools and find better ways. You can do this. We got your back!
