For any plan to work you have to stick to it. You can lose weight just by eating normal food, but less, and you can get fit just by moving your body, but more, if you are very sedentary. Things like that can be easier to stick to than trying to fit a rigid meal plan or workout regimen into an everyday life.1

I try to cut out all unnecessary carbs. Which to me are ones you don't taste much because of what you eat it with. Like instead of pasta I substitute butternut or spaghetti squash and load it with sauce, Laura's lean hamburger and some cheese. Or when cooking Mexican. I mix all my favorite ingredients together and eat it out of a bowl instead of a taco shell. The key is to plan. I've Lost 42 lbs so far and still feel full after my meals.
You got this! Just know this isn't a diet, Its a lifestyle change. So make it as easy as possible. But tracking here and planning are the key. I know what I'll be ordering at any restaurant I go to before I get there. Good luck!1
