Homemade cottage cheese and whey calorie help

I used 2% milk to make the cottage cheese and was thinking of keeping the whey for other uses. Does any one know how to find out the nutrition content for whey?
When I Google it I just get results about whey protein powder.

I forgot where I read somewhere, I might be completely wrong though, that the nutritional/protein value in whey is very insignificant. I make my own yogurt and just drink the whey, because I like the taste.1

Ok, thanks. I was kind of thinking the same thing. With yogurt I just keep the whey mixed in usually but with cottage cheese there is a lot of leftover whey.0

There is a thread on here you can find via google for home made greek yogurt that gives a good break down.
Basically there are like 60 calories in a cup of whey from milk.2
