Weight gain

Starting my new "diet/routine" today. Im 5'5, 108 lbs, very underweight. I eat HORRIBLY and I smoke alot. In the last couple of months ive been noticing the only meat i had on my bones slowly start disappearing. Not to sound conceded but in all honesty i think im a very attractive person, ive never worried about my looks or what anyone thought of me at all..up until the last year or so. I hate the way i look, im very uncomfortable in my skin and my family and coworkers all take notice to how skinny i am. I get mad fun of, i feel like im being judged..i could go on all day about how my weight literally depresses me. I hate it. Its time for a change.

    Check out some of the stickies on the weight gain boards, they might come in useful. Might be worth talking to a professional too if you're having a lot of negative thoughts about your body.

    I'm trying to gain weight too. I'm 5'0 102 pounds.just found out I'm pregnant with twins.

    When my ex husband was trying to gain weight to join the military they had him drink an ensure with every meal. I don't know if it is sustainable but it might be a way to get your body use to more calories and they do have a lot of good nutrition in them.

    I love drinking the ensures but they get super expensive buying them all the time so i cant buy them as much as i would like to.

    Good luck! I'm gaining as well. 5'11, started at 96lbs, now 119, and goal will be ~140. Check out the Gaining Weight forum, it will help you a lot!
