Macros percentage

How do I count my macros with Myfitnesspal? I'm on 40-30-30. when have i reached those? Is it when next to it appear 40-30-30 % or 100-100-100% next to it?

You will see it in the macros section in your nutrition diary. It will tell you what percentage each macro is at.0

Be a bit careful with the percentage view as it doesn't show anything about your GRAMMES of macros, just your split.
Personally, I find the Nutrients view much more useful...0 -
I don't have the premium version. Not sure if this is the right way to do it, but I got my macros from the IIFYM.com website. To calculate %ges add all them together, Protein, Carbs, Fats. This is now what 100% looks likes e.g. Prot=202, Fat=92,Carbs=224, so total, 100% = 518.
To turn Pro 202grams into %ge; 202/518=0.389, now multiply by 100 to get the %ge protein you need i.e. 38.9, then approximate to 40, or 35%. The the same for the other two Carbs, 224/518=0.432, x 100= 43,2 round upon down to 40 or 45, the fats is whats left, 92/518=0.177, x 100=17.7%, round up to 20. This gives me a 40,40,20 split.0
