My biggest downfall is chips and crackers! What is everyone's favorite alternative healthy crunchy snack?

Roasted pumpkin seeds (crunchy & salty so I don't miss chips!). For a sweeter crunch, I like the Bare honey baked coconut chips - so good!

Kay's natural chips or puffs. High in protein(12 g per bag) and most come in a 1 serving bag so I usually don't over do! calories between 110 and 125. The new pass the peas are lower in protein, only 90 cal per serving - but highly addictive - and they come in 4 serving bags! I'm finding it hard to stick with serving!

I love Garden brand Veggie Straws. They're only 130 calories for 1oz, and they're very light so you get quite a few for a serving. They're high in sodium, but they fill my "chip void" for fewer calories than a handful of potato chips.

When I have a half ounce of chips with a sandwich or one ounce of crackers with cheese and meat, I don't feel the urge to eat more.

    Additionally:
    • I weigh them out and put the bag away, out of sight.
    • Eating slowly helps as well.
    • I usually have some carrot or apple with the crackers, meat, and cheese.

I love celery and carrot sticks dipped in hummus. Nuts are also a great snack, full of healthy fatty acids and filling. ..just watch your portion size.

I second Veggie Sticks, I prefer the Aldi version over all others. Also White Cheddar Puffs from Trader Joe's.

    dried edamame

Hey, I literally just tried this the other day, my coworker brought it in. Made fun of her for being too darn healthy. Surprisingly it was pretty darn good. Tasted like a nut.

I eat chips I fit it in. I weigh them and then thats it. If I'm eating salsa I'll weigh out one serving usually 16 chips for 130 calories plus some fresh homeade salsa now that's a good snack in the evening!!

Celery or apples with a peanut butter yogurt dip,
    Rice cakes,
Find some healthier versions of chips and do the math to make them only 100 calories.

This one never make sense to me, the calories are pretty much the same as potato chips, and the ingredients, are potatoes, potato flower, corn starch, tomato paste, and spinach powder. So basically potatoes processed to be in straw form, instead of chip form. They aren't filling a chip void at all, the are just a different shaped chip, with more sodium, and false advertising. If you like them better great, eat them, but if you would rather be eating chips, eat chips.

Toss a bag of Kale with some olive oil (I use Fry Light) and spices, place them on parchment paper & bake them for about 20 mins (turning after 10 mins) and viola! They're also nice with just salt on

Celery dipped in a bit of salt. I wouldn't necessarily say it's something that everybody should try but it worked to satisfy my cravings for a salty crunchy snack.
