Need some motivation

I've been trying to lose weight off and on for four years and each time it just wasn't successful, maybe this time around I can do this, but motivation would also be lovely :)

    You haven't been able to lose any weight or just very little?
  • Find your reason for wanting to succeed. For me it was because I looked 8 months pregnant! And my favourite Capri pants didn't fit this summer, a real bummer. I feel so much better about myself when I'm thinner and want that boost.
    What do you want to get out of weight loss?

    Losing weight is really simple (eat less, move more), but you're not likely to succeed if you just try, you have to do, for real, and keep doing it and doing it and doing it. Motivation for weightloss won't get you far, you will struggle and stumble and lose it at the first obstacle, maybe the first obstacle is going to be goal weight - but just about any excuse will be enough to quit, and then you'll just end up feeling miserable, sorry for yourself, mad at yourself etc, and try harder next time, and feel even more sorry for yourself, and on and on. Break that cycle. Find and cultivate a lifestyle you like, that also enables you to lose and maintain weight.
