Unsaturated fat

Why does my fitness pal have a default goal of 0 g unsaturated fat, but a higher number for saturated? Unsaturated are like vegetable oils while saturated is butter or lard.
I know trans fat or hydrogenated are bad, but not unsaturated.

It's a glitch -- should be NA, not 0, since there's just no goal/limit set. Ignore it.1

MFP gets all it's guidelines from the USDA. There is no set limit or goal for unsaturated fats, so it just has 0. It should really be N/A or something like that, but instead they just don't put a goal/limit.1

It used to be N/A in MFP because there are no specific limits for them, but during an upgrade a couple years ago they incorrectly changed it to zero. The goal for mono plus poly fat will vary depending on how much trans and saturated fat you consume. After subtracting saturated and trans fat from Total Fat, that number will be how much mono or poly fat combined you have left to consume.0
