I worked with a fertility specialist to have my child (because of my partner's health issues) but I was obese during treatment. It worked fine because I was otherwise healthy but if I could go back and do things over again, I would strongly prefer to be told I needed to lose weight.
Trust me when I say: being closer to a healthy weight matters in pregnancy. Being obese while pregnant was hard! I had several complications that I might not have had if I had been a normal body weight. Risks are higher for developing complications, and if you need a csection, recovery is much more difficult when obese.
I can't tell you how happy it makes me that you are making the diet and lifestyle changes now before pregnancy. It will help!1 -
Hello!
I have over 100 lbs to lose. I would like to lose some weight before having my 4th child. I'm 30 currently 319lbs. It was terrible physically with my 3rd one because my body hurt so bad from being obese the further along I got.
