1,500 calories and still haven't lost weight

So in June 2016 I was at 242 a year later I'm at 185 but it seems harder to loose weight I workout 45min a day Sundays off plus my work line I'm all ways walking 5hrs I eat lots of veggies and protein I hardly go out to eat maybe 1x a week if busy. Anyone going thru this or have any suggestions

"eating lots of protein and veggies" doesn't cause weight loss - a calorie deficit does - are you weighing all your food to ensure you are eating at a deficit?2 -
It is harder to lose at 185 than 242 because you have less room to create a large deficit because your daily calorie needs are less. That's why the more you lose, the slower it is. I lost 150: 6 months for the first 50, 8-9 months for the second 50, a year for the last 50. That's just how the math works out.2

How long has it been since you've lost weight? If only a couple weeks then don't worry about it. If longer, is your calorie goal correct? You have to go in and reset it as you lose weight. I didn't know that, I thought it would automatically adjust as my weight went down and it turned out My calorie goal had been too high. Are you logging accurately? Do you weigh your food? Are you overestimating your exercise calories burned maybe? Also congrats on your weight loss so far! You've been doing great0

how tall is the op, what age, what is your activity level (without exercise), and what type of regular exercise do you do.. how often (how many days a week) and how long? Eating "healthy" means nothing. Eating "lots of vegetables" means nothing. There are plenty of overweight vegetarians out there. Are you counting calories, and are you doing it accurately (weighing everything by the gram)? Maybe 1500 calories isn't low enough, OR maybe you're not actually eating only 1500 calories like you think you are. Just not enough info. If you've lost weight as you say, you need to re-calculate like you are starting over. Don't use the same calorie goal you used when you were 242. Just some thoughts.0
