Losing inches but not weight...confused

I've been trying to lose about 10 pounds of "happy weight" I put on after getting engaged for the past few months. It's always been SUPER easy for me to lose weight, but it's been a bit harder this time even though I feel like I'm doing the same things. Since July, I've lost almost 2 inches around my waist but the scale has only moved 2 pounds! Obviously I know the goal is inches, not pounds but it still seems strange to me. Haven't been lifting, so I doubt I put on much muscle: here's a before and after: Any ideas?

I don't understand. You say you haven't lost weight but then you say you lost 2 lbs. 2 lbs lost is weight loss. Sounds like you're right on track with as little as you have to lose.

I guess you're right. 2 pounds just seems small compared to the difference I'm seeing in the mirror.

You are on the right track. That's a great weight loss for your already tiny frame. Keep going and keep doing what you're doing. Good luck!

With only 10 lbs to lose, you're going to lose it slowly. 2 lbs is a loss, and probably just what should be expected.
