Doing this again

Hi, I'm Tracie. I've been a member of MFP for years. I lost 40lbs before by tracking. I stopped tracking and here I am again. Those 40lbs returned and brought a lot of friends.
I'm 41 and a stay-at-home mom of 2, a 14 yo boy and a 9 yo girl. I'm too young to feel achey all the time.
I'm 5' 3" and was 226.8 when I weighed myself on Friday. I'm setting small achievable goals for myself to start so I stick with things. For now I'm working on getting in 5000 steps a day on my Fitbit and drinking 6 glasses of water a day. I'll work on increasing both in the next few weeks. An of course tracking all of my food. I'm on my 5th day so far and feeling much better.

Welcome back and congrats on deciding to continue your goals. ! I'm back for the 2nd time as well. It's easy to get stuck in a rut, especially when tracking your food becomes a chore. I have about 100lbs to lose and use Fitbit as well if you want to do some challenges to stay active. Life throws a lot at us at times and it's good to surround ourselves with encouraging people. Good luck on reaching your step goal.

My story is similar to yours. I lost 50 lbs and gained it back plus more, same age, height and similar weight (I'm 247 lbs). I have a Fitbit but I recently purchased a Polar because I wanted a chest strap. I hope to lose it and keep it off this time. Welcome back and good luck!0

You're for sure on the right track as you get started. Really try to dial in on nailing down your calorie and macro goals for the day. That is where you'll get the most results from. You've done it before, so I believe that you can do it again. I'm in somewhat the same boat, so I'm working on weight loss too right now. Let's buddy up and help each other stay accountable0
