Need more paleo safe calories

So my box is doing a paleo challenge this month. Four weeks, no dairy no refined grains. So they did a body scan, which was eye opening. 233.9 lbs, 50% body fat. BMR 1513. Issue is that I've logged my food for the day and I still need 500 calories to hit my BMR. Is this a problem? I was thinking of hitting up the store for protein powder and some almond milk.

Pre-logging my food for the day has never worked for me. I always end up adding something. Always. See how you do today with 1500 calories. If you eat under, no big deal, right?0

Add oil and nut butters to some meals and snacks.0

Have a couple of fatty pork chops, or a turkey leg. If you wanna go 'paleo' you have to think like a caveman. Forget protein powder and almond milk. Eat some beef liver, or find a good source for venison and rabbit. Or have a couple of handfuls of almonds or hazelnuts. And don't forget to eat tons of raw vegetables and fruit, to get your micronutrients. And also don't forget, no refined sugars, no alcohol, and no legumes, either.
Forage daily!1
