Feeling a bit bummed . Been working out 6 days a week for at least 30 mins each , using my fitness pal to track everything , I thought I would at least lost a pound but gained 7! Now I'm almost 200 lbs but I look 150 . I had the birth control implant but got it taken out today . I have a feeling that's what has been making me gain weight

Hate to sound all cliche, but is it TTOM? Twice now (first time was within the first two weeks of my new routine), that EXACT same thing happened. My brain wasn't accepting it could be hormones or water, but my friend was right: as soon as it was over (aunt flow left), I had a significant drop of like 6 pounds in 2 days. Female bodies are so wacky with how hormones affect the darndest things, and your bc very well could be at play. Stay the course, it'll come. Good luck!!

7 lbs of fat x 3500kcal/lb-fat = 24,500kcal. If you didn't eat at least 24,500kcal over your TDEE, you didn't gain 7-lbs of fat. I hardly think you did that. It is water. Give it time and it will disappear. Good luck.

You only just started working out 6 days a week? You're retaining water for muscle repair.

Weight loss does not happen on our schedule. Are you logging all your food? Weighing everything? How long have you been trying to lose weight?

Everyone has weeks where they "gain" instead of lose.
