New comer looking for advice & support. Trying to start healthy lifestyle journey

I'm in my early 20s, I've been trying to lose weight for 10+ years. I always start and then fall off and end up gaining more weight. I'm my heaviest I've been at 275lbs. I know this isn't great for my health and Im finally mustering up the nerve to take charge of my life and making a change. I would love to hear from people who are or were formally obese and have made progess and how you did it. Please be detailed about nutrition and physical activity please :)

    You'll find a lot of stories on here about personal weight loss journeys. And you'll find even more people here who've struggled with on-and-off weight gain.

    My biggest challenge has been creating sustainable eating and exercise habits - it's pretty easy to lose weight when you're being strict about dieting and working out, but it's a very easy slide back into old habits once you loosen up on the reigns!
