I just came across this. It just sounds like a bizarre joke or something. :grumble: I just did the copy and paste thing...but it came from Good Morning America -

A controversial new snack is causing concern for some parents. "Lazy-Cakes Relaxation Brownies" are billed as a safe alternative to help people relax and packed with melatonin, the same active ingredient in sleep aids. The company advertises them for adults only, but the snack has reportedly sent several children to the hospital. But we want to know—have you tried Lazy Cakes? What was your experience, good or bad? Tell us and a GMA producer may be in touch.

  • I saw them at 7-11 recently. They definitely market the item to look like it might be a pot brownie, with a tye-dyed wrapper and all. When I first saw it my mouth hit the floor. Crazy stuff.

I saw a portion of the GMA show. I believe it was right after the children were sent to the hospital. Controversial to say the least.

It is pretty stupid of the parents to not keep them out of sight/reach for children just like they would ANY other medicine, alcohol, etc! Blame the parents, NOT the manufacturer.
