Baked potatoes

Hi guys, when weighing a baked potatoe , do u weigh it before or after cooking as the weight can change significantly and what's lost I presume is the 0 cal water content in the baking process.

    Either.

Just choose the correct database entry.

As with all these things raw will have the slighter degree of accuracy but nothing to really worry about either way.

Agreed - the only change is water loss, but you do need to pick the correct database entry.
I'd tend to err on the side of raw.

I weigh raw because it's easy to just make a stop at the scale on the way to the oven but as said either is fine if the correct entry is used.

Either just make sure you use the database entry that matches the state you weighed it in.

I usually weigh the potato before I cook it.
