HELP!

I just started my weight loss journey I'm really scared I'll give up but I feel very determined !!Before I would never last/not really try ,but I'm tired of seeing myself in the mirror and not fitting into anything i am at 160llbs my goal is to be at 120 I just need tips to help me in any way y'all can I'm new at this so I don't know anything about foods ,exercise ,strength to eat moderately!! Any tips help and definitely friends to join me on my journey and motivation!

Congrats on starting! That's the first step. I've lost 22 pounds in 6weeks. My recommendation is beat your calories goals daily, along with lots of exercise. I went from 191.7 to 170.2 and I want to reach about 150-155.2

For what it's worth look at my posting here in introduction, I laid out what I'm doing and it's working amazing. Nothing would make me feel better than to see someone copy paste and it work for them as well0

Eat a balanced diet, and eat food you like - that will give you way more strength to eat moderately than any "diet" even can. Log your food intake and aim to hit your calorie goal every day. Don't quit if you miss your target here and there, just keep going. Look at what went wrong, but do it to try to do better next time, not to get down on yourself.2
