Only one week on mfp and I gained weight!!!

I've tried so hard this past week and then ended up gaining weight! I'm shocked and very discouraged...but I know I HAVE to make positive changes to myself and my lifestyle. Any feedback is welcome because I feel completely dumbfounded...

If you are very obese, when you first start it can take up to 6 weeks to see the scale decrease. Also, week one is never a good indicator. To many fluctuations from water weight, hormones, shock to your system.. etc. wait a month.. re-evaluate. You already have the first (and most important) key to success.. a desire to want change.
If it's vanity pounds and you aren't obese, just fluffy.. you will have to really work with your deficient to find the magic number. MFP can only estimate. It says my maintanence is super high.. it isn't! It's 300cal lower than they estimated which means I have to rework the numbers myself!1 -
Hi there, When logging all your food on MFP are you showing lower calories each day ?? Are you doing any Cardio ??0

Advice I can give you that might help. Try intermittent fasting, I did that at first to help and I still do it. You basically just stop eating at a certain point during the evening like 8 and don't eat again for another 12-20 hours. Also weigh everything. I wasn't weighing at first and I was losing weight but at a really slow pace because I was eating more than what I was assuming.0
