What’s Wrong With Me?

So I made an account just to ask thins so forgive me if I posted this to the wrong thread. Anyways whenever I walk or run I get this pain underneath my right rib. It’s not a stitch because I’m aware on those and how I’m not able to breathe this is different. I can semi control the pain by tucking my elbow in the location of the pain (it just so happens that my elbow is the perfect hieght to nearly wedge in there). The pressure from my elbow keeps the pain tolerable but it’s still prominent. It doesn’t happen when I do core exercises like sit ups or crunches just when I do a vigorous walk or run. I’ve been to a doctor for it but she was not every attentive to my pain just my checkup. Any ideas to what it could be?

I think this really is more of a doctor issue. Is there a different primary care doctor you could see? Sports specialist? Or possibly an osteopath (D.O.) who does manipulation?

I get the same pain when I jog or run after long periods of inactivity; I want to believe it's just a muscle cramp because it has never been worse than just a stabbing pain that goes away with a bit of rest and stretching. Have you tried core stretches before runs?

If you get it from walking then I would say it needs a doctor
