Fitbit showing exercise on MFP when no workout was done.

Hey guys! I have a question. I have my MFP account and my Fitbit account linked together.

There have been a handful of situations where MFP will have a caloric burn under "excersise" even though I haven't done any average activities like running or other cardio. I'm concerned that this may effect my intake calories to be inaccurate and hinder my weight loss.

There are also times when it seems like Fitbit has my heart rate significantly elevated compared to what I'm actually feeling (no shortness of breath after running, for example).

Anyone have any ideas or tips?

Have you done a lot of walking on those days? After a certain number of steps you'll usually get a calorie adjustment too - doesn't need to be just logged exercise.

Isn't the step count? I dont eat back my workout calories, bc of this reason, not eating to over do the calories so I just stay in a safe calorie zone :) I usually Burn no less than 400 cals when I dont work out just by doing my regular activities. When I do, it shows that I burn around 1000 cals :O and since I don't really believe it I don't eat them back, which is working out just fine for me. Good luck!
