Air Force wife, mom living overseas

So we've lived in Italy (Ferrara) for three years and the Italian way of life has definitely caught up with me. 15 lbs and counting. We are moving to Okinawa in November and I'd love to feel better before we get there. I've never felt more unhealthy than I do now.

    Welcome to MFP! I know how it is being overseas and enjoying all the different type of food that country have to offer. I served overseas for 7yrs. I did 4yrs in Misawa, Japan and 7yrs in Ramstein, Germany.

    I should clarify.....I've gained 15 lbs and counting :) Hopefully that business stops now!

    Hey hey! New to MFP~ :) You're going to Okinawa? That's awesome, I'm actually going to be moving down there next September time frame. Currently living on mainland, but I can relate to the temptations of trying all the different things a challenge. Not yet a spouse but hopefully we can cheer eachother on, and also please enjoy Japan! Hehe <3
