    I have a Frenchie, a Boston Terrier, a short hair and a long hair Chihuahua and two American Exotic Shorthair cats.

    I love all creatures. My sons cat, Nix brought us the brown. He was fine and released with no injuries. And I met the pretty copper head just off my driveway. He was obviously getting his tan on so I snapped some pics and let him be. Texted my sister in law and told her to just keep the kids inside until he left. My brother and dad were livid that I didn't kill it. But I can't. I can't kill anything! It's just too horrible to consider. We will encounter snakes no matter where we move to. Killing this one wouldn't guarantee anyone's safety.

    I have an 11 year old Schnauzer. He is my baby and my protector. He loves to watch TV and barks at any other animal, sometimes makes it difficult to watch TV when he is awake.

    I have a 19 year old horse, 12 year old rabbit, 6 year old dog & 2.5 year old cat. And I have a foster bunny.

    I am so sorry for your loss, working at a doggie day care should help ease your pain, my heart feels for anyone who looses a pet since they are part of our family..
