I never salt my food , but my sodium intake is high. How does fresh fruit and veggieshave salt if u dont add it?

    It occurs naturally. But unless you are eating a crazy amount of veggies I'd suspect a different food.
    Chicken is often injected with a sodium solution so it can be high. Salad dressing can be high too.

    Look at the nutrition content of the foods as you log them.


    Also, if you don't have medical reasons to avoid sodium don't worry about going a little over.

    There is sodium in vegetables...not a lot, unless you are using entries for canned vegetables, or frozen. Then it's more likely there is more sodium (salt) added as a preservative.

    Check your food choices when you use them to be sure they are correct. You can check them against the USDA food database if you feel they are incorrect.
