Malcolm X
Che Guevara
Kalief Browder - He was jailed for 3 years with no conviction, he committed suicide because of all the stress. Very sad story.

Pick something easy with lots of info on it. Avoid religious or political topics. However, make sure people haven't heard about it a lot so it's still interesting to the class and teacher.

5 mins - keep it simple - the topics you listed are very detailed and if you go over the time limit you could be penalized as well (one of the goals of a presentation course is normally being able to limit your ideas and speech to the time given)

talk about a favorite book or something you have read recently and why people should read it
    or something simliar
