Hello guys, I'm 5 feet 11 inches and I weight around 75 Kilos which I believe to be an ideal weight for me.
The issue is with my weight distribution. I have slight belly and that I need to be toned. Any serious suggestions in terms of diet and exercise both?

Have you thought about recomping?3

You're still on the high end of the BMI scale. You might not be able to get the belly you want without losing more weight. You cannot chose where you lose weight.3

As the saying goes: "abs are made in the kitchen". If there is a bunch of fat there covering what abs you might have, only a calorie deficit is gonna get rid of it.1

Thank you everyone. I'll definitely work on having less calories.0

My husband has the same issue. He's a slim person, with what could be called a beer belly (which is a shame because he barely drinks!). He's done gym work to target it, with no significant change. His dad was built the same way (but was incredibly unhealthy). He's in calorie deficit at the moment, but doesn't really want his scale weight to drop too much, because like I say he is otherwise slim.0

Gym work won't do any good in and of itself. Fat is lost through calorie deficit. If he wants to maintain weight (or at least minimize weight loss) while losing the fat, he should look into recomposition (good thread about it here). It's a slower process than cutting via calorie deficit, but for somebody who's close to normal weight and doesn't want to lose more, it's an effective approach.
The above applies to the OP also - you can't reduce belly fat via exercise. Spot reduction is a myth. Maintain a calorie deficit and eventually you'll lose the fat. Doing strength training while you lose the weight will give you better results when you reach your goal weight.3 -

My understandingis there are two componentsof sexy abs
1. Strong muscles underneath
2. Remove fat from on top.
So you need to be strong and make sure you have muscles to show and you need to remove enough body fat that the muscles can show. Recomp seems best for this.2 -

Start lifting progressively(full-body routine) and eat at a slight deficit if you still want to lose a little, maintenance to keep weight stable and recomp.0
