New Food Ideas

Looking for some new food ideas. I have dinner and breakfast covered...but looking for new lunch and snack ideas (maybe some lunches and snacks with more protein, fiber, or complex carbs?) Thanks!!!:happy:

  • This may not be much help, but for snacks I like nice pieces of fruit. (Cold apples or oranges are delicious. I also buy whatever fruit is in season - that I can stand. Right now...I'm lovin' black plums.) Also, if you like cottage cheese, 1/2 a cup with your favorite fruit mixed in is great.

    I hope you get some great ideas from others.

    Lunch ideas=
    I always do a yogurt with fruit, but www.skinnytaste.com has awesome ones! As well as Whole Foods! :D

    I've been enjoying Fiber One Bars/ Brownies for snacks, or Pirates Booty.
    For lunch I've been eating tuna fish on a wheat tortilla (a total of 240 calories for the wrap with tuna and light miracle whip) there's lots of protein :)

    For lunches during the week I have ensure chocolate with extra protein. Just ignore the last few days of my diary lol.

    tuna and hotsauce.....VERY few calories, high protein and the hot sauce might raise the metabolism a bit <3

    for lunch i take a lot of salads, caesar, spinach with strawberries, pecans and goat cheese, chopped salads. I get a lot of my veg this way and it is easy to pack up to take to work
