I'm looking into getting a calorie counter/ heart rate monitor so I can get an accurate idea of what I'm burning when I work out, but there are so many out there I can't figure out what to get!

Can anyone recommend an accurate one that I can get in the UK, that is not too expensive? (Hopefully no more than £40/ $65 but may be able to go a little higher if I have to)

I got mine from Argos for £30
    the make is Target Fitness.
Make sure you get one with a chest strap as they are more acurate.
This one does the job ok, it took a little while to program it, the only downside is that I cannot use it for swimming!!

Some of the Polar models you can use if you swim,
If I had to get one over I spend a bit more and get a Polar, look on Ebay they about £60 to £80

    Hope this helps

Look on amazon for a Polar FT4/FT7. They are the basic HRM's/calorie counters and will work just fine.
