@g2baleoparx - I just wanted to pop in and say, whatever @SideSteel and @Azdak say (above) you can take to the bank.

There's more fitness/nutrition experience in those two people than all the rest of us combined.

You've gotten good advice. Up to you to use it.

Thank you. I'm definitely glad I posted I've gotten some great advice.

Ive lost almost 10% of my body weight now and weight loss and metabolism have slowed but not stopped. I realize the easy pounds are over but the positive aspects are lowered heart rates and resting pulse. Appetite has lowered too but I must ramp up my exercise to see better results too.

I walk 30 mins every morning 5 days and have a physical job and then zumba 3 times weekly. I eat 1400 to 1600 daily and maintain weight but according to mfp I should lose at that. If I eat more then this I gain.

Exercise, especially aerobic exercise, suppresses appetite for up to 24 hours due to the suppression of the appetite hormone ghrelin. This could explain your fluctuating energy you mentioned in the OP. I feel tired and hungrier the day after a long run, after the endorphins have worn off.

Your cheat day of 2200, plus water weight fluctuations are going to make your weight loss a very slow process, which is fine.

have you looked into Metabolic Renewal? Its created by Dr Jade Teta and its a meal plan and workouts that are supposed to help with your hormones that could be causing weight gain. I don't sell this or make anything off of recommending it. I just started the program myself. Here is a link to the hormone quiz....Just and FYI...I really hate the way they try and sell you stuff after you buy but it is an amazing program.
