I am training for a half marathon, as my runs get longer my calories burned is getting pretty high (almost 2000 this past weekend after a long run wearing my hrm.) So Im wondering what do you eat when you want to put back a lot of calories in a smart way?
My favorite is peanut butter with apple slices.

Hey, me, too! Half marathon AND apple slices with PB!
I also love a PB and banana sandwich on wheat bread, a wheat bagel with almond butter, or celery with pimento cheese.
