I am losing inches and I have lost 9 pounds in one month .Does anyone know how long before additional pounds will drop.I am eating much cleaner and I do cardio 6 days a week for 82 minutes. So does anyone know how long before I will see the scale move again.

It's different for everybody. I lose an average of 4-5 lbs a month, but some weeks I don't lose any, or *gasp* gain a pound or two, and there are weeks where I lose 3 or so.

Stick with it, you'll see results

Thanks at least I am not the only person whose weight fluctuates from day to day.Like this evening I was up 4 pounds but I know it will be gone in the morning. But it seems like I have been stuck at 235 forever.I guess I am one of those people that need to see the scale move but the inches are moving instead and I will take it.I guess a weight gain of 4 pounds or less in normal for my body right?

I usually weigh myself in the morning right before breakfast and after I pee. This evening I weighed myself and it said 4 pounds heavier.THe only reason I weighed myself was to see how much my weight could fluctuate between morning and evening.I don't suppose I should worry right ?This is normal right?
  • No I don't think you should worry. Just keep doing what ever it is your doing and it will come off:bigsmile: This is normal right you are
  • Hi, yes, we're about the same weight, and 4 pounds or more is normal for me.

Inches are good, that means the exercising you are doing is making a difference. Toning is so important for us women. It's what gives us waistlines!!

Keep up the good work, your doing great!!!

Congrats on seeing some results so far!:flowerforyou: Sounds like you're doing a lot of cardio. You may try to factor in some strength training- more muscle burns more calories!
  • You are doing awesome!!! You are gaining muscle working out which weighs more than fat. We aren't suppose to weight ourselves at night.... (I've done it before... but try not to now/ I freak out if I weight the same in the morning... Keep up the great work! Try changing your work out routine.. and change your calories intake.. Don't eat your work out calories for 2-3 days, and then a couple of a days in a row eat your work out calories. You have to confuse your body. It gets fixated on the same thing everything and goes into idle mode. (Dr. Oz on Oprah said that and so does the Dr. that wrote "The 4 Day Diet". Best of luck and keep going! :flowerforyou: :drinker: :flowerforyou:

I got kind of "stuck" for 2 weeks at the same weight. Then I recalculated my goals, realized I get fewer calories when I weigh less, started on the new calorie numbers, and voila! one week later, one pound gone! Remember to recalculate about every ten lbs or so, and realize that at about 4 weeks in the scale can get a little stubborn. Just stick with it!!
