Has anyone adjusted slightly the calories myfitnesspal gave. I entered my stats & myfitnesspal gave me calories of 2420. I set my pounds loss of 1.5lbs per week & activity level to lightly active.

I mean I can't speak for you (or anyone else) without knowing your stats.

But for me I changed my calories to be higher then MFP suggested and I've been losing.

Need your height and weight at the very least before knowing how many words to type in reply.

I suggest everyone reads these Must Read posts (the announcement at the top of this forum):

1.5 lbs per week is a goal for your height/weight. Not too severe, which will let you stick to the plan.

Do you use an activity watch/tracker? Those can automatically add extra exercise calories to your daily limit so you don't starve yourself. If you do use one, enable Negative Calorie Adjustments.

I used the initial setup as a guide then after a month or more I manually made small adjustments to my calorie goal to fine tune my weight loss based on my actual results over time.
Did the same when I got to my goal weight.
Changing your desired rate of loss gives you a coarse adjustment, manually setting allows you to make more precise adjustments.

So how is your current 2420 + exercise calories goal going?
    Is it sustainable?
    Not too restrictive?
Getting the expected rate of loss?

If not losing, don’t add calories but subtract another 100 calories. Make it 2220.
