And my grandfather died very tragically saving others in a coal mining accident. I believe he was in the army as well but not entirely sure. No one has talked about it. It's a tough situation.

Never saw anyone that was as beautiful as you when I was at Camp Pendleton. On or off base.

Like others, from a long standing military history within my family. Most were Army or Navy. My paternal grandfather was killed in France during WW2.

I have not served but I've been around military my entire life. I'm a Navy brat, born in San Diego, lived in Virginia Beach and Japan. I currently work for the USMC out of Quantico, working for the Marines and their families to support the programs and businesses. I have organized many care packages to go to our Marines currently deployed overseas.

Good to go, my grandparents on both sides fought in that war as well, in the Army and RAF. I've a youngest brother that just got out of the Corps as well.

My Grandfather was a Marine and served in World War 2.
My Father was a Marine and served in Korea.
My Brother-in-Law was a Marine and served in Viet Nam.
My Son-in-Law was a Marine and served in the Gulf War. (served in Irag and Afghanistan and then discharged and came home and died in his sleep at 28).

My brother served in Iraq and Afghanistan in the infantry. He is not doing well now. It breaks my heart.
