Advice and encouragement

I'm just getting started by keeping a food log and walk. I am extremely overweight and I just looking for tips on where to begin I'm not sure of want to hit the gym now or loss some weight first. Just looking for tips and encouragement.

    Great start. Plug in your stats to MFP and get a calorie goal. Eat at that level and walk when you can and you will lose. Good luck.

    Trust the process, log your foods, create a deficit and keep moving. The gym can be added later

    Figure out how to eat right and track what you are eating. As you lose weight you will gain energy. At some point you will want to workout and do more.

    At least that is how it worked for me. I've lost 50 pounds so far 50-60 to go. I wish you well.
