I was diagnosed with Hoshimoto's and hypothyroid in October of 2016 after years of trying and failing to lose weight. I lost nearly 10 lbs after getting medicated over a few months, but I was putting very little effort into weight loss at that point.

January 22nd I took a chance and joined Weight Watchers. I've lost 54 pounds with the plan. Though I recommend giving the plan a shot and find it useful in its own way, it's become more and more limiting.

The plan has some built in macro planning using a complicated points system, and I thought that maybe I can work on weaning myself off of Weight Watchers and start tracking macros here.

Hit me up if you're serious about weight loss or if you are knowledgeable about IIFYM/macro counting! I need all the help I can get.

Macro counting works but can be easy or difficult depending on what you choose to do and how you do it. Id suggest finding a good calculator via a google search. I MFP macro counter is average but can be made to work if you do your part.

Yes, I'm using the calculator direct from IIFYM.com. So far I'm enjoying this new way of tracking!
