I am just starting carb cycling and I have to stick with it this time. I need to lose 50 lb by mid February is anyone doing carb cycling. I'm not sure if that's exactly what I'm doing that's what my husband called it I'm counting my macros and my carbs are low proteins are high but I definitely need some accountability and motivation. I'm 26 I have a 3 year old and I'm 183 lb I want to go to the temple in February and would love to look and feel beautiful in a temple gown

Carb cycling would be where you have high and low days of carbs, but staying within the same calorie deficit. Is there a reason you are carb cycling? You can still lose if you maintain a calorie deficit and not have the stress of cycling.1

I did super good watching my calories a couple years ago and losing weight. The carb cycling was my husbands idea. He is the fitness nutritionist guy in the family. But its also hard for me to talk to him because dieting is hard for me and he is a very "get er done" person (my hubs is great he is just very rigid with certain things). I gained a lpt in the last couple years and physical attraction isnt really there now. And its hard for him to be my accountability because he is gaining so he is eating a lot more food and a lot more carbs.0

But im doing a cycle where im like 2 weeks with low carbs0

So what are your plans for after the 2 weeks? Are you in a calorie deficit? Also sounds like there are other issues there beyond just weight.1

You mean other issues with the attraction? Yes, definitely. But im working on those too. Kind of0

Well... that cut me off.
Im not actually sure what i do after the 2 weeks yet i think my macros change some. I guess i havent gotten that far because im trying to get past the first week0 -
If you are having difficulty with carb cycling now and have no plans on what to do beyond why not just focus on what you do know how to do that worked for you in the past - calorie counting. Ultimately it all boils down to calorie deficit no matter what your macros are.1

Honestly, im just trying to do this his way. I know people wont agree with that outlook but thats my plan right now and i think i should at least try0

Best of luck to you!0
