TDEE vs MFP KJ/Calories for maintenance weight

Hi guys, just looking for some advice regarding my kj/calorie intake. I've been using MFP for over a year and I've managed to lose 36kg/79lb and finally hit a weight I feel comfortable with (66kg/145lb at 170cm/5'7). I'm paranoid that now I'm not working to lose weight any longer I'll just gain the weight back and all the hard work will be for nothing.

So given this I want to keep logging my food and keep my weight in check, however I'm not sure which number to trust. My maintenance KJ in MFP is now set at 7908kj/1890cal, plus whatever excercise I do for the day. With yesterday as an example I did just over 12,000 steps including a 6km run. Google Fit, which I use to track my steps/runs etc added another 3790kj/905cal, into MFP for this exercise. So overall I would have had to eat around 11698kj/2795cal for the day if MFP is correct.

However the TDEE calculator built into Google Fit says I used 9099kj/2174cal for the day, so it's quite a difference. If I use something like TDEEcalculator.net with moderate exercise entered it says I should be at 9807kj/2344cal, so pretty much in the middle. Sorry for all the numbers, but I'm pretty confused right now! Any help appreciated.

Estimators like Google fit are not very accurate. I would just rate yourself as "fairly active" or "active" and not add in exercise calories. Or, you could keep doing what you have been, and just monitor your weight

It might take a while to figure out exactly what your maintenance calories are. MFP and Apple Watch maintenance calories for me are within 100 calories of each other. However. I routinely eat 200+ calories more than either estimate, and I’ve lost about a pound in the last month according to trend weight.
