Which one is right? There is a pound difference but is kind a depressing when you are losing half a pound in a week

pick one scale and stick with it - no way of telling which is "right"

Neither.... Or both. It doesn't matter... Just stick with one scale.

Probably neither is EXACTLY right. Don't pay attention to the absolute number but only to the relative change.

My scale died. I had to go buy a new one. It was a 2.5 difference higher. I was not a happy camper. I adjusted my weight and now use this ones numbers. I just "relost" the 2.5. I know in my head I didn't gain anything.

Lol... a 1 lb difference! When I updated scales several years back, it read *12 lbs* higher.

No one has a *true* weight. Our weight fluctuates constantly. The 1 lb could be scale variance or it could just be a fluctuation within your body (water). Don't expect to see a loss every week. :)

I agree with all of the above posters, both scales are off. With luck, each scale is consistent with itself, so if you stick with one of them, over time, they will tell you how much you've lost.

A few years ago we bought a new scale. That one had me seven pounds heavier. It was really frustrating. My husband checked it by weighing himself at the doctor's office and then immediately going home and weighing himself. The new one was correct.
