Have any of you tried the 40/40/20 diet?
Has it worked?
Getting kind of frustrated.

although a good idea, diets have a 95% failure rate. Most people gain back the weight they lose after 2 years stopping it. It's best to do a lifestyle change. Just enjoy eating healthy foods and count your calories, you won't need anything else.

I keep my protein high 200 plus grams a day and carbs under 150g a day. Fats are usually under 70g.

Well given my body type I plan on keeping up with it indefinitely. I understand that I'm going to have to work hard to maintain and eat right 110% of the time. I've been on a hellacious calorie deficit for quite some time now and hate it but I know that if I want to look my best, I've got to work for it. I'm just curious if it works. I was planning on keeping my carbs and fats lower though. Maybe more of a 40 30 20 or something...

I'm not too good at math but, that adds up to 90 not 100.......50/30/20 would work

Endo here! My nutrition is very similar to Scott613. I keep my protein high 200, 150 carbs and around 68 fat. My weight has not dropped on the scale but my clothes fit better and I look more lean when I see my self in the mirror.
