Getting my body back.

Hello. I'm Charlie and after two years of letting my weight get out of hand, I've decided to make the right choice.
I went from being 8.5 stone (119 lbs) to 14.9 stone (197 lbs).
I'm 4 foot 11 so you can imagine in impact this is having on my knees at the moment, which I have had issues with previous to my weight again anyway.
I've got a little 2 and a half year old and I want to be able to be more active with him.
A back/pelvic injury from giving birth had me not being able to walk more than 5 minutes for 9 months, which is where I again most of the weight from and I've really struggled to get my head in the right space to make this change.
It's nice to see how motivated and supportive people are on here, it's going to be hard but I wish everyone a success journey.

Good Luck! Having a baby does wondrous hateful things to our bodies while also being one of the most amazing. I've been trying to get to pre-baby weight of 155lbs, then to my goal weight of 130lbs for the last I don't know three years since my son was born (he is 3.5 years old). But I never put my mind to it really, I was just complacent. But being 5'2" and 166lbs right now I feel ya (I was 190 when I gave birth).
I wish you much luck on your journey and you can totally add me as a friend! I always love new motivation! :-)0 -
Oh yes, it truly is one of the best things that can happen but body wise it is incredible destructive for some of us. It would be nice to chat to another with a toddler too.
Good luck on your journey, I will add you now. Let's get motivated together!1 -
I love having my son and it's definitely the best thing to happen. he works out with me when I can and loves it, he has his own weights, and tries to do yoga and cardio so it's motivational. :-) glad to have you as a friend!
