What's your thoughts on it? Did you like it? Did you lose weight and tone up with it? I did my very first workout with it yesterday and I'm SOOOOO sore! It's going to hurt like heck to do it again today. I'm wondering if it's worth it!

Well I can venture to say, if you are hurting, rest a bit, but keep at it, it will definitely be worth it. I just started my first Jillian workout, the shred with weights. I did it two days ago, and my thighs/hamstrings are still killing me. I am determined to go back and am in just a min, but I know it will be tough, really tough, but I already love what it did for my thigh muscles, I can't wait to see what it does for my whole body.

i love it im on week 3 and can definately feel the difference the first couple of days my thighs were so sore from all the squats i love any jm workout and i think they are all effective in their own way
  • Of course it's worth it! Any exercise worth its salt will make you super sore for a few days. As long as you are sore, and not in actual pain, you should push through with the exercise!

I'm actually doing it right now and I love it! It's a good workout for cardio and burning calories. I've lost most of my weight doing this video. I do a little added strength training outside of it as well. I was really sore the first week. To the point where I didn't do the 6th day workout. I gave my body 2 days rest and then went back at it. I love doing it now. It's a great way to challenge yourself and by adding more weights and more reps to the cardio part, you can keep going with it for a while.

That's how I feel every time I've done any serious workout. Admittedly exercise it my down fall, I have bad knees at only 25 and that make every standing workout that much harder. I haven't tried this dvd specifically but had done others and I almost never make it past the first sore day because like you said, the second hurts soooo much. I just bought a stationary bike (small peddles only unit) because I am really wanting to work on circulation, endurance, and improving my knee flexibility so hopefully that will start to slowly push me through the soreness issue. I wish you the best if you decided to do this again, I truly believe that it gets better but pain is probably the hardest part of getting healthier (even worse then hunger!) and I know how hard it is to push through it.

Great advice everyone. I guess I should get off my sore *kitten* and hit it up  Pain is good I guess, LOL!

How do you all add it into your exercise counter?
