After Swimming Snacks?

I'm going to try and swim in order to lose weight (with tiny feet & big boobs it's uncomfortable to run!)...
My question is twofold:
1) What's a good healthy after-swim snack? I had a banana today...
2) How soon after swimming should you eat dinner if you want to lose weight? I had mine about 45 minutes afterwards (chiken omelette with tomato and some sweet chilli sauce... I know, weird... :P)

I try to eat something within 30 minutes of my workout-- usually protein. Your omelet looks like the perfect thing!0

I am very hungry after swimming 1 mile. I usually have to try hard to not overeat. I usually eat a cheese stick, or an apple or a 100 cal pack of almonds. Something small to hold me over until dinner.
I think eating dinner anytime after you get home is fine. Eating dinner right away after exercise works well. The issue usually is to wait about 30 minutes after you eat to start exercising. Hope this helps.0
