Hello
well done on getting motivated to get into the gym. If your gym has classes it’s a great way to discover new work outs and keeps you motivated. I would recommend getting an induction and a program so that you use the equipment correctly and also are able to work at a level that is suitable for you. If you can afford to a few personal training sessions they may help too. A mix of cardio and weight training is essential. YouTube has plenty of videos to help too
swimming is also amazing if your gym has a pool. good luck and I hope everything goes well for you.

Good decision to make it to the gym. Lots of safe machines that take very little time to learn to use properly. It isnt necessary to hire a trainer, but if you are not familiar with weight training, or have no clue how to plan a workout that matches your goals, it would be a good idea to take advantage of a few sessions.
