I am currently doing Keto /LCHF diet and I am on week 4 I have lost about 10lbs but I’m just stuck there. I need some tips and advice... does anyone use certain protein powders or Amino powder or anything to help boost your weight loss? I have no idea what these things are btw... so any info or suggestions would be greatly helpful!

I have heard Isopure is very good for keto. I am thinking about buying it(amazon). They have one that does not have a flavor and can be added to baked goods, or if you want a shake you can add vanilla or whatever flavor you choose to it. They also have a chocolate and a few other flavors. I have also heard (from many facebook keto groups) that you want the why protein isolate, make sure it says isolate because they have another product that is just whey protein. Hope that helps!

If you are not losing inches either, you need to check your calorie deficient. Keto doesn't boost weight loss, it just helps with cravings and inflammation and many other autoimmune responses. It's still cico that makes you lose. But scales can lie so add in measuring. Hormone fluctuation can mask weight loss and fool the scale. There is no magic cure that will speed it up. No protein powder, no pill, not apple cider vinegar or body wraps.. Just eating less and moving more.

I just started the keto diet. I have been on it for 5 Days. I have lost 2 1/2 lbs this week. I like it works KETO coffee with one scoop of it works greens. My daughter sells it works. My question is how many calories are you consuming ? I am over 1200 and I have premium but my fitness will not allow me to customize calories. My goals are 75Percent fat, 25 % protein and 5% Carb. To eat very much, you easily go over 1200.

You need fat. It is better if you do healthy fats like avocados, fatty fish, olive oil, butter and such. You shouldn't have any problems getting protein in. What are your macros? How much water are you drinking because I found that a cause for some of my stalls? During my first couple months of keto I found so many hidden carbs in stuff. Really need more info to help other than that. You can send me a message.

Hello and welcome! I suggest you check out the following main low carber daily forum group here in MFP. It's where most of us Ketophiles tend to hang out though it isn't the only LCHF-themed group:

10 lbs in four weeks is not "stuck" -- you're just slowing down after the initial big drop in water weight typical on a keto diet.

You can get a better idea of how much you should be eating and losing if you use one of those body weight calculators. They don't figure in your lean body mass and metabolic rate, but they can give you a ballpark figure. Check what your caloric intake should be to maintain your current weight based on your age, activity level, and height. Then you can subtract your caloric intake each day from that to know about what you should be losing for what you're eating, keeping in mind that there are 3500 calories in 1 pound of fat. The important thing is to keep your fats somewhere between 70-75% of your total caloric intake and your protein between 20-25% because some proteins can be converted into glucose by your body so overdoing it could mess with ketosis. It also helps to keep in mind that there are nine calories per gram of fat and four calories per each gram of protein and carbs for when you are planning your meals if you do that.
