Good afternoon all my fab MFP's!!!
Within the next 2 weeks the following will be happening.
1. We are moving 3.5 hours north back to the Bay Area. i need to pack, clean and pack some more!!!
2. My 2 older kids are starting at new schools in the bay area
3. My baby...who is 2 is starting preschool!
4. I'm starting a new job
5. My daughters 13th birthday! (God help me)

Now with all this going on... I'm worried I will just eat on the go, or put myself to the side for a while until life settles down a little. How do you all get through times in life like this???

Exercise to relieve stress and SMILE!
  • Remember to take some "Me Time". Might make things a little less stressful if you take them one thing at a time. Good luck with the moving and all.

I am also moving to the Bay Area! But all the way from England, so we are packing up the house (international movers come tomorrow), crossing fingers on the green card, looking for work and I'll be a month without my bathroom scale and kitchen scale... I'm feeling just like you - how the HECK am I going to do this?!?! But I'm trying to stay positive and not be too hard on myself cause that's when I always just end up giving up. I know I know good food choices from bad so I'm just going to try to be strong and smart and remember how easy it is to slip back into old, bad habits. Good luck with everything!!!!!

All that stuff that you posted is very important, time consuming, and can be hectic. But remember YOU are just as important as that other stuff....Don't let anything get you off track. Make time for you!!

Prepare food/snacks ahead of time. That way you have something to eat when you are hungry and you won't need to eat any where bad. If you do have to eat on the road...then make the best choices you can. A salad instead of a burger makes a huge difference!

I'm sure you will get some exercise packing, cleaning and moving.

GL!! You can do it :)
