Hi there,
I was just looking for some suggestions on the best way to tone my lower abdomen. I went from having a flat stomach that I didn't even have to work for to, after 2 c-sections, this pouch that is not attractive and won't go away.

Thanks

Abs are made in the kitchen, and to some extent if that pouch is a little extra skin it might never go away completely. Just do a good overall ab routine and get your BF% lower and see what it gives you. Good Luck!

p.s. I got a friggin 6 pack, but my body fat% is too high to see it, hence the abs are made in the kitchen ;)

There is a thread called So You Want A Flat Stomach, but I don't see it in the sticky posts and could find it with a search. Maybe someone has the link.

Abs are made in teh gym, and revealed in the kitchen. You have to have both low enough body fat for the muscle to show, and enough muscle to have something to show. It takes both. Genetics probably help (or hurt) a lot too.

genetics will play a huge factor in it actually.

there are people here on MFP that have never done a crunch in their life or situps or planks and have showing abs...

I personally have obliques showing and I am still soft and pudgy in my middle...

I don't do ab workouts ever...genetics and compound lifts.

Yeah, I've got a six pack also, but I like to keep it safe and warm under a protective and insulating layer of fat. :)
