Hi I just gave birth 2 months ago and i currently weigh 230lbs, I want to get back on my original weight of 145lbs. I am 5'7, any suggestions on how to start, diet tips and ideas on what exercise to take, i had a C-section, so no abdominal workout for me yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Start with the stickies at the top^^^^, loads of great info. I would paste them for you but I’m on my phone. Ugh
Congrats on the new baby!4 -
Eat in a calorie deficit (if you're breastfeeding make sure you're eating enough to account for that). Do the exercises that your body will allow you to do until you feel you can move on.1

Hi, I'm a mommy of 4, my youngest is 16 months and I am still BF. I just started 4 days ago and I am down almost 5 lbs. The hardest part for me is not eating everything and not exercising, jk who am I kidding, I HATE exercises and not being able to eat what I want. So this is what I've done.
If you have FB you can go to the market place and possibly find a cheap elliptical, I found a great one for 50.00. if not that's ok.
I've been counting calories, you can Google how many calories you are supposed to eat daily and stay under that. Stop sodas. Switch all your normal products to low fat or sodium etc. Diet is the first step. I just bought a food scale off Amazon for less than 20 bucks to help weight my portions and meat.
I walk my 10000 steps every other day and in between I hit the elliptical for about an hour. I try to burn as many calories as I can so I can eat more5 -

Hey we have similar stats, I'm a couple inches shorter but was about 230 when I got started again, and my last child was a C-section, so I feel ya!I've only been back at it for about a month, but if you need a buddy feel free to add. I try to encourage my buddies and I keep my diary open and share recipes and stuff (when I get around to it )0
