Bump...I wld love to change it up!
My current recent lunch is a 100 cal wrap with chicken and cheese...not to filling but its under 500 cals so u cld add to it.
Im not a veggie fan so adding some of them may work0 -
I like doing a good tuna sandwich (tuna salad, tomato, lettuce), or BBQ chicken and ranch salad (your favorite salad base, ranch dressing, and chicken cubed, cooked, then simmered in your favorite BBQ sauce and topped on the salad. I don't think that's quite 500 calories, so finishing off with something like yogurt, cottage cheese and fruit (I use peaches), or a banana usually is great, filling, and healthy.
Also, if you're out and about, a Chipotle bowl is actually around 500 calories, depending on what exactly you put on it (check out http://chipotlefan.com/index.php?id=nutrition_calculator for exact numbers of your favorite combinations).0 -
I really like Nori Rolls with spinach and hummus:).0

I make turkey, ham, and chicken wraps. You can buy the 100 calorie wraps, add the meat, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, black olives, and a low cal dressing. Yummo! A fresh green salad with grilled chicken. A personal pan pizza with fat free mozz, fat free feta, spinach, tomatoes, fresh basil, and black olives. Those are a few lunch dishes that I make that are under 400 calories.0

Believe it or not, if you're pressed for time and you're passing fast food spots, my trainer gave me fast food options...
They are ALL under 500 calories:
McDONALD'S: Hamburger, Garden Salad and small one-percent milk
Total: 470 calories, If you have to have salad dressing, get a fat-free vinaigrette one.
Chicken McGrill and Garden Salad
Total: 440 calories,
KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN: 3-piece Crispy Strips and Baked Beans
Total: 490 calories... the baked beans are high in fiber
Roast Chicken Breast and Corn on the Cob
Total: 500 calories
TACO BELL: Chicken Gordita Supreme and Mexican Rice
Total: 490 calories. You can have the hot sauce it has no fat.
Grilled Chicken Soft Taco and Pintos 'N Cheese
Total: 380 calories. The pintos has FIBER!
PIZZA HUT: Two slices of The Edge "The Works" pizza and a tossed salad
Total: 380 calories
One slice Supreme, Thin 'N Crispy pizza and a tossed salad
Total: 410 calories
SUBWAY: 6" ham sandwich on a deli roll plus one oatmeal raisin cookie
Total: 423 calories,
6" Super Turkey Breast sandwich
Total: 333 calories
**At Subway if you get mustard instead of oil, it's fat free & get veggies instead of cheese...
Hope this was some helpful info...0 -
Ham, cheese, lettuce, mushroom wrap. Lowfat peanut butter and banana sandwich. Salad w/garbonzo beans and veggies. Pink salmon in the pouch on salad or you could do lite mayo and make a wrap w/lettuce. Toasted pita or whole wheat tortilla then top with BBQ sauce, chicken and cheese then melt in oven. You can also do canadian baco n, pizza sauce and cheese pizza on a tortilla. Wheat pasta with spaghetti sauce and light red kidney beans (for protein). Chicken, brown rice and a veggie.0

I pre-prepare most lunches:
2 cups of salad & veggies
1 tbsp parmesan grated
2 tbsp Walnuts or other nuts
1 egg, tuna cup
Or
The salad with
Boneless skinless chicken breast 150 g
I like Sophia’s no fat no sodium cilantro lime dressing, but sometimes make my own with balsamic vinegar, or Greek yoghurt and lemon (I sometimes add a little A1 Steak sauce to it)
This is around 450 ccal in my guestimate
Works for dinner, too0 -
A can of Progresso soup can be microwaved or stovetop in minutes. The Traditional chicken noodle is 200 calories a can and the Light is 140 calories a can. An entire can for lunch at noon keeps me full until dinner. You can add some saltines for 60 calories for 5 crackers. It's a hot filling meal and a good escape from cold sandwiches.0

Lean Cuisine Butternut Squash Ravioli is loaded with Veggies and quite tasty. Only 280 per container.
Every frozen lunch I've ever had from Trader Joe's has been delicious and under 500 calories.0
