Steamed rice, and veggies, with chicken, or shrimp that is not fried. Look for something where the sauce is not all over the rice and veggies, and ask for some on the side if you want to add some.

i wouldn't eat the rice, given that most sauces will be high in carbs.

Some places have a 'lite' section- my mom always orders from there.

Nothing breaded, no rice, no pasta, nothing with any sweet sauce, even if it's only lightly sweet. Green beans, salmon, non-fried fish, crab and cheese casserole (beware of artificial crab, it has sugar added a lot of the time), mussels with any sauce scraped off if it's sweet, mushrooms, beef and broccoli, and the almond chicken should all be fine. >> I've frequented Chinese restaurants in the past. Those things are at many of them.

Rice and veggies are both carbs.
Not fried is relevant for calories but not carbs.

Doesn't match the desire for a low carb meal.

That’s true. Good catch ab the rice. I’d still go w the steamed veggies tho, unless it’s one of those strict protein only diets.

Teriyaki chicken with NO SAUCE! (Ask if chicken is cooked in sauce or not)

Ask for any chicken dish that doesn't have sauce cooked into it.

Steamed veggies are good too since they are your "good" carb. :)

Stay away from any and all rice if you are trying to be strict with your low carb.

    Good luck!
