I consider that part of my "everyday activity" so I don't log it. I just don't consider walking around a store any different than walking to the bathroom or to my car... which seems silly to log, imo.
But if you really want to log it.... probably walking at a slow pace (slow to take into consideration all the stopping to look at items).0 -
I totally understand that.. But the reason I log it is because I only do my grocery shopping once a month. And its normally a 3 - 4 hour adventure. And its normally pretty nuts. So for me, its not part of my normal routine. Which is why I choose to log it.0

did it elevate your heartrate to 70% to 80% of your maximum for a continuous time of at least 20 mins? if you didn't, don't bother logging it. stuff like that does not give you a workout because it does not challenge your cardio vascular system or your muscles to a degree where it makes a difference. I know it feels like exercise, but it isn't. lol0

I don't know about all the walking around the store while shopping but I bet lugging all those grocery bags into the car, out of the car and into the house was a bit of a workout!!0

I agree with this, too. And if you don't log it your trip to the store will just be an extra little "workout' for you.0 -
Well, I ended up putting in "Walking, slow pace" for 150mins even though it was 210mins.. Had I put in the FULL min time.. It tried telling me waaaaaaaaay more cals burned and I know that just isnt the case.
Thanks everyone.0
